This edition invites cartoonists to reflect on the theme of aging through the lens of humor. Artists can find supporting information and inspiration related to the theme on the official website: www.iqh.es

📜 Participation Rules
1. Eligibility
Open to all professional artists over the age of 18 from anywhere in the world.
2. Number and Type of Works
Each participant may submit up to 5 original works (cartoons, comic strips, or humorous illustrations) related to the theme “Aging (with Humor)”.
The organization reserves the right to invite artists directly.
3. Technical Specifications
Works must be signed and created in any technique. Maximum size: A3 (297 x 420 mm), preferably vertical format for catalogue layout purposes.
4. Submission Format
• Traditional works: Send by post to:

• Digital works:
Submit to miah@iqh.es in JPG or TIFF format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
It is also recommended to send a printed and signed copy, including the copy number (e.g., “Copy 1 of X”).
5. Shipping Responsibility
Participants are responsible for packaging and shipping costs. The organization is not liable for damage, loss, or customs fees.
6. Exhibition Date and Venue
Selected works will be exhibited at the XXXII International Exhibition of the Arts of Humor in Alcalá de Henares from September to November 2025.
7. Collection Rights
Unless the author states otherwise by marking “Return” on the back of the work, submissions will become part of the permanent collection of the Quevedo Institute of the Arts of Humor.
8. Usage Rights
By submitting a work, the artist authorizes the University to reproduce and disseminate it (with proper credit) for the promotion of the exhibition and related activities, without financial compensation.
9. Notification
Participants will be notified via email of receipt and selection. Selected entries will also be announced on www.iqh.es.
10. Publication
Artists whose works are selected will receive a complimentary copy of the official exhibition catalogue.
11. Content Restrictions
The organization reserves the right to exclude any works deemed to violate individual or collective rights.
12. Originality
Participants are solely responsible for the originality of their work. The organization will not be liable in case of plagiarism or copyright infringement.
13. Legal Terms
Participation implies full acceptance of the contest rules and waiver of any legal claim. Authors retain responsibility for their submitted works.
