An international competition of emails and net videos about solidarity among people, open to students and artists.

 

Founded by:

• Municipality of Spilimbergo

Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom

Regional Authority for the Rights of the Person

 

This competition is organized in collaboration with Karcomics Mizah.

 

Participation Requirements

 

The competition is open to students of all educational levels and professional artists from around the world.

Participants are required to submit one or more works on the following themes:

Peace

Tolerance

Fight against all forms of racism

Defense of human rights

 

Submission Methods

 

Each participant can enter the competition in two ways:

1. Submit images or visual artworks in JPG format with a maximum file size of 1.5 MB.

2. Submit short films or animations with a maximum length of 5 minutes, which may also be sent in a compressed format. The most common video formats are accepted, including AVI, MPEG, Real Video, QuickTime, Video for Windows, etc.

Required Information for Each Submission

 

Each submission must include:

Full name

School name and grade/class (if applicable)

Phone number and email address

City and country

 

Students must also include their school address, age, and current grade level.

 

Note: By submitting their work, participants authorize the organizers to reproduce and use their works in the competition catalog and other non-profit media.

The organizers are not responsible for theft, damage, or loss of the works.

Submitted works will not be returned to their creators.

 

Jury Panel

A jury of communication experts, art critics, and representatives from the educational sector will evaluate the submissions. The panel includes:

Antonella Sbuelz (Writer – Udine)

Marco Tabilio (Cartoonist – Riva del Garda)

The jury will select six winning works based on their development of the proposed themes and impactfulness.

 

Competition Prizes

 

A €300 prize will be awarded in each of the following six categories:

 

Best Work - Kindergarten & Primary Schools: €300

Best Work - Lower Secondary Schools: €300

Best Work - Secondary High Schools: €300

Best Work - Short Film or Animation: €300

Best Work - Professional Artists: €300

Best Work - Satirical or Humorous Drawing on Human & Civil Themes: €300

Special Prize: “Social Responsibility”

 A €300 special prize, sponsored by Gruppo Bisaro, will be awarded to the author, school, or institution that submits the best work on the theme:

“We don’t own the world, we’re only borrowing it.”

 

This award aims to highlight the connection between environmental sustainability and the protection of international human rights as interconnected issues within the broader theme of peace.

Submission Deadline: February 1, 2025 – May 31, 2025
