Every drop of water matters

Water is an essential yet vulnerable resource under global pressure due to climate change, population growth, and rising demand. Only 3% of Earth’s water is freshwater, much of which is not readily accessible. The unequal distribution of water, exacerbated by human activities and the climate crisis, leads to droughts, floods, and pollution. Conscious water consumption is necessary to combat scarcity. Alone we are a drop; together we form a river.

Conditions:

• Open to cartoonists worldwide aged 18 and over.

• Participants agree to the contest’s terms and the jury’s decisions.

• Each entrant may submit up to 5 entries (color or black and white) in A4 format.

• All drawings must be submitted digitally in high quality: A4, 600 dpi, with a maximum size of 8 MB.

• Accepted file formats: jpg, png, psd, eps, and pdf.

Prizes:

• 1st prize: €1,000

• 2nd prize: €500

• 3rd prize: €250

• Best Flemish entry: €250

• Audience prize: €250
