Dear cartoonist,

We hope you are all doing fine and that you and your family are in good health. After a period where we, in Belgium, were in lockdown and the European Cartoon Center had to close the doors for a few months, the moment did come to look forward and to prepare the 23th edition of Euro-kartoenale.

Thetheme and the rules will be announced in October 2020. If you already did participate in the Euro-kartoenale you will receive the rules automatically in your mailbox.

If you never participated - what's a pitty of course - you have to register on our online participants platform before the 15th of September in order to receive the rules automatically.

Please feel free to forward this mail to other (starting) cartoonists who might be interested. 

As you know the Euro-kartoenale is one of the oldest biennale cartoon contests in the world. The last years it was always awarded with the maximum score by FECO 

The opening ceremony will be held on the 3rd of April 2021.
