Eight years of Holy Defense has became a good subject for artistic to narrate the sacrifices of the warriors and the people of Iran against the Ba'athist regime in Iraq and their brutal and cruel crimes through the language of humor.

Most of these cartoons had been created during the war and had been forgotten, but Irancartoon Site and other organizations decided to hold a virtual exhibition on this dubject.

It is noteworthy that these artworks have been created by prominent Iranian artists such as Javad Alizadeh, Habibollah Sadeghi, Ali Divandari and Sayyed Massoud Shojaei-Tabatabai:
