2. Category II: Dinosaurs in Geological History. (Depicting the geological past, excluding anthropogenic elements; dinosaurs in the Mesozoic era) – The nature of the work: caricature, joke.

Participation Rules

1. Eligibility:

   • Open to international participants from EU member states, EU candidate countries, former EU members (UK), and EFTA members (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland).

   • Participants must be of legal age and possess full legal capacity under Polish law.

   • Jury members, organizers, their employees, and close relatives are not eligible.

2. Artwork Requirements:

   • Accepted formats: drawings, graphics, single-panel comics, and comic strips.

   • Works must be original, unpublished, and not previously submitted or awarded in other competitions.

   • The use of AI-generated art, plagiarism, or any derivative works is strictly prohibited.

   • Each participant can submit up to 2 works per category (total of 4 artworks).

   • Preferred artworks without text. If text is included in a non-English language, an English translation is required.

3. Technical Specifications:

   • Any technique is accepted.

   • Maximum size: A3 (420 x 297 mm), portrait or landscape orientation.

   • Only two-dimensional works will be considered.

   • Digital submission for the first stage: JPEG, 300 dpi, max file size 5MB.

   • Naming format: CategoryNumber_Author’sName_WorkNumber_TitleInEnglish.jpg (e.g., II_Kowalski_2_T-rex_on_a_scooter.jpg).

4. Submission Process:

   • Online submissions only via dinosaurs.com.pl (email submissions will not be considered).

Judging Process & Results

• Stage 1 (Initial Review & Shortlisting): Submitted works will be evaluated for originality, artistic value, and relevance to the competition theme.

• Stage 2 (Final Selection & Exhibition Qualification): The jury will select final works for exhibition and determine winners.

• Results Announcement: April 7, 2025, via dinosaurs.com.pl. Winners will be notified by email.

Awards & Prizes

• Grand Prix: PLN 12,000 (gross)

• Category I:

  • 1st Place: PLN 9,000

  • 2nd Place: PLN 6,000

  • 3rd Place: PLN 4,000

• Category II:

  • 1st Place: PLN 9,000

  • 2nd Place: PLN 6,000

  • 3rd Place: PLN 4,000

• Winners will receive an invitation to Warsaw for the award ceremony (June 25, 2025), including 3 nights of hotel accommodation (June 24-27, 2025) and travel expenses (up to PLN 4,400 per person).

• Additional distinctions and non-statutory prizes may be awarded by partners and sponsors.

Final Provisions

• The winning artworks become the property of the organizer.

• Participants grant the organizer the right to use submitted works for promotional purposes.

• The organizer reserves the right to modify, cancel, or amend the competition at any time.
