International Cartoon & Poster Terror Onlie Contest-2024 Deadline: Jan. 10, 2025

Theme: Terror Online , "Content Policies vs. Freedom of Expression: Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook

Introduction:
Human history is filled with the domination of oppressors and tyrants to plunder the wealth of different countries and enslave their people. In pursuit of their goals, these oppressors have tested and employed numerous methods, but the most common and important one was violence.
With the advancement and expansion of technology, and the emergence of new methods and weapons, a new form of violence arose, increasing its range and intensity across the world. This newfound violence gradually led to acts of terrorism, providing new opportunities for oppressors to impose their power with fewer efforts and casualties. One of the most prominent examples of this modern violence is bioterrorism, a silent yet effective weapon in the hands of the world’s oppressors and powerful criminals.
Today, with the significant growth of cyberspace, super-criminals have unveiled and employed a newer form of terror: the use of the internet and cyberspace to carry out violence. This new form is known as cyber terrorism. As an obvious example of cyber terrorism can be the blocking of Instagram and Twitter pages belonging to freedom fighters, anti-imperialists, and the leaders and martyrs of resistance front such as the deletion of the account of Martyr Qassem Soleimani and posts related to him after his assassination, as well as the removal of images of leaders and martyrs from the resistance front like Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Ismail Haniyeh. The goal of the tyrant's is to reduce the impact of the resistance’s message and prevent its spread worldwide, thereby hindering the global solidarity with this anti-oppression movement.
Terror online is a space that reflects and exposes the actions of these powers to pursue their malicious objectives.
