The first cartoon was published in Akbaba Magazine in 1973

A structure was taken to the World Caricature Museum (Tolentino / Italy) in 1978

In 1979, the American Cartoonist Association (AACE) was selected as the best political illustrator of the last decade.

Participated in National and International competitions and exhibitions. He won 30 awards.

Eight books have been published.

He was a member of the board and supervisory board at the Cartoonist Association.

He became a permanent member of the Cartoonists and Writer s' Union in central New York in 1985

In 2000, he was again admitted to the Permanent Membership of the National Cartoonist Association in New York.

For years, Ortaköy has been street painter and cartoonist in the square.
