Parallel show at the international hall of humor piracicaba that is now 50 years old.
It all started around 2004.
There were countless events, comedy halls in Brazil. Piracicaba, São Paulo, Belém, Porto Alegre, Brasília, reef, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and in inner cities where cartoonists and illustrators were found from time to time.
These artists, invisible to much of newspaper and magazine readers, met, exchanged ideas and became more fans of each other.
Hidden with their materials, boards and computers, they had no face.
I've always enjoyed taking pictures and I just bought a Canon digital camera that I didn't take out of my backpack.
In one of these events I was struck by taking pictures of these professionals who, if they weren't friends, would be.
Fortunately, I was invited to many events and have started making these photos a routine.
I set up a blog on uol that lasted until the platform took everything down.
There were hundreds of photos and faces revealed between Brazilians and cartoonists from abroad.
Monsters s/a is ironic.
There are monsters at work and there are many ugly ones among us.
Maybe that's why they hide
