Sherif Arafa - Egypt
Not only is Sherif Arafa a well known cartoonist, but he is also a dentist, a motivational speaker, and an author.
For a number of years, Arafa was the cartoonist for the Egyptian state run paper Rosalussef; however, at Rosalussef he struggled with censorship and was unable to depict former President Mubarak.
Although Arafa worked at Rosalussef for more than ten years, he has now relocated and is cartooning from the United Arab Emirates.
