Biography
He was born in Antakya, Turkey on June 4, 1947. Graduated in Civil Engineering in 1970.
During the university years he participated in a cartoon contest of the most prestigious cartoon magazine “Akbaba” in 1968 and won the grand prize. He worked as a cartoonist till the graduation in 1970. Then he got married in 1972 and started to work as a construction engineer. For many years he worked abroad and cartoon was just a hobby for him. In 2007 after a voluntary retirement, he started working as a freelance cartoonist again. He participated in many national and international exhibitions and won some prizes.
He lives in Ankara, Turkey; married, have two children and a grandson.
