Biography
Ernesto Priego- Spain
Ernesto Priego, a freelance illustrator and cartoonist based in Barcelona, Spain.
Ernesto’s style ranges from realism to comic cartoon always pushing the limits and raising the bar in the art of caricature.
I started as a young artist with caricatures, then I had to quit because I’ve found good jobs in Advertising and Illustrations.
I returned to caricature and cartoon art about 4 years ago.
With the 92’ boom and the Barcelona Olympics, I began to work for lavish design studios because they needed experienced illustrators and cartoonists.
I mainly worked for 2 studios Senyal Reset and for several companies and brands.
I kept this job for 6 years and then I plunged into the freelance world. For two years I also worked as a cartoonist for a fanzine called Barzelona.
