Alessio Franceschetto is a young Italian artist and visual designer, working, living and loving London town.
A master of pop culture designs, Alessio creates funny, colourful images with an ironic twist that make his audience reflect.
Curious about his creative journey, his sources of inspiration and his work, Konbini contacted him for some exclusive insight.
Alessio was born and raised in a small town in the province of Venice, Italy, where he first started his creative career.
While working as Visual Merchandiser for Paul Smith, he also cultivated his passions on the side, investing in personal projects in his spare time.
Enthusiastic about both art and music, he created a clothing line with one of his friends while also working on his music by playing in various bars around the area.
Yet with time he realised he needed something even more stimulating.
Alessio explains: I think Italy has great potential, but this potential does not get used enough.
Thus, to stimulate his creativity, he moved to London to work for the Paul Smith London office.
Alessio Franceschetto's art remains down to earth, relatable, and funny, while still achieving great attention to detail and design.
While his first goal is to make people laugh, he also wants to make them think.
