My illustration work combines traditional printmaking
and digital techniques to create vibrant compositions
of color, pattern and texture. With a focus on multi-cultural
concepts, the patterns I incorporate add layers of meaning
and cultural context, enhancing the power of each image.
Jing Jing Tsong is a mom, surfer, musician and artist whose grown-up job is illustration.
Her images are influenced by traditional printmaking techniques. JIng Jing's illustration can be found in many places including the New York Times best selling Children's Picture Book, A Bucket of Blessings (by Surishtha Seghal and Kabir Seghal, published by Simon and Schuster), the United States Postal Service Winter Fun 2015 Forever Stamps and the 2015 National Cherry Blossom Festival.
