BARRY JACKSON
In the early 90's, he began working in film as a production designer, director of storyboard teams, writer, and children's book author/illustrator.
His screen credits include films such as, "The Prince of Egypt," "The Nightmare before Christmas," "Titan AE," and Ron Howard's "The Grinch." He was one of several production designers on the Dreamwork's production, "Shrek." He also conceptually designed the Paramount feature film, "Cool World."
In 2001 he production designed the all digital animated short film, "Los Gringos," which was critically reviewed and praised in Entertainment Weekly. He also designed the opening title sequence for Joe Dante's film, "The Haunted Lighthouse," a featured attraction at Sea World.
After a two-year stint as writer/director of storyboard/animatics at Electronic Arts, Barry signed on with Warner Bros to production design the all-digital feature film, "The Ant Bully," to be released Aug 4th, 2006. Currently he is visually developing the Dr. Seuss story, "Horton Hears a Who," for Blue Sky Studios and Twentieth Century Fox.
Barry's first children's book "Danny Diamondback" is available at most children's book stores.
