Bruno Werneck - Brazil
Bruno Werneck is a concept artist and freelance illustrator located in Chicago, Illinois. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Bruno was given a scholarship in 1996 to study at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
While originally majoring in graphic design, he ultimately gravitated towards traditional animation, receiving his degree from Columbia College Chicago in 2002. Bruno is currently working full time for Midway Games as a Concept Artist.
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Bruno Werneck is the founder of filmpaint, an independently owned studio that brings to life the imaginations of some of today's most visionary entertainment creators.
While Bruno began making pictures at a young age, first with markers and crayons, his art career started with the study of graphic design and animation at the School of the Art Institute and Columbia College, both in Chicago, between 1997 and 2002. Since then, Bruno has focused on making filmpaint a leader in concept art, where creators can see their visions realized through expressive visual narrative.
Through artistry, professionalism, and versatility, filmpaint is dedicated to helping creators realize the deep, detailed worlds modern audiences demand.
