Riina Maido was born on the 17th May 1961 in Rakvere, Estonia. She studied in Tallinn and Moscow. Currently is working as a freelance artist and is concentrated mainly to illustration, calligraphy and cartooning. Her artworks have been exhibited at numerous exhibitions. She is a member of several professional organisations: The Association of Professional Graphic Designers in Finland Grafia, The Finnish Illustrators Association, Kuvittajat (Illustrators of Finland). Riina Maido is living and working in Helsinki, Finland.
