Anthony Garner (ANT) was born in Hereford, England and moved to Barcelona in 1993 where he has lived and worked ever since as a freelance cartoonist and illustrator.
He has drawn caricatures and cartoons for Punch, El País, Ara, The Progressive (USA), Private Eye, The New Statesman, The New York Observer, Greenpeace etc and now draws cartoons for El Jueves, El Periódico and El Economista with cartoons regularly presented on television, France 24 and the Catalan television channel TV3. He is also regularly hired to draw quick caricatures at events all over the world.
He has illustrated over 20 books, adult and childrens and has collaborated in theatre work with the Catalan theatre company La Fura dels Baus.
He has exhibited cartoons worldwide including the French caricature festivals at St. Esteve and St.Just Le Martel and has been selected every year for the World Cartoon Press exhibition in Portugal since it began in 2005.
He is the UK ambassador for United Sketches for Freedom and a member of Cartooning For Peace.
