My name is Steffen Kraft, born in Heidelberg at a time when there were only four television programs and the winter offered enough snow for an igloo.
A time without internet, mobile phones and social media.
To do so with tapes, letters and outside play.
I like nostalgic "back to the roots".
But I still like the present. The most exciting task nowadays is to live attentively in the present.
To look at the essentials from time to time with all the means of distraction: to consciously and to perceive and reflect the world and to act in such a way that it is not only good for one's own, but also for all others.
As a communication designer, I have the opportunity to reflect the world in pictures and help shape them.
Photography and illustration is for me also a kind of meditation.
On the one hand it is the focus on an object or on an activity; on the other hand, I can express something in images which is important to me.
