DUBA Cartoon - International Contest of Graphic Humor
Theme:
Animal Welfare
Participation:
The exhibition is open to artists, illustrators and graphic designers, or anyone who wishes to participate.
Participation is upload a jpg image, no more than 2 MB, 300 dpi, the artwork that wish to register, page http://dubacartoon.wspala.org , ensuring complete the required fields on the form registration.
Works Participants must comply with the specifications described in this regulation.
Each author can participate with a maximum of 3 works.
All entries are individual, no group will be accepted.
Specifications of the work involved:
The theme of all the works should be the Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare (UDAW).
The works must be comedians (drawing humor or cartoon) without any text, not to limit the understanding and interpretation of them by language. The works include texts will be disqualified.
The works may be made in any technique, and should be owned and authorship of the registered participant. The films are published or displayed as long as the author has full right to use them.
Deadline:
The deadline for acceptance of entries is September 1, 2012.
Jury:
The selection of works made by a jury appointed by WSPA. The decision of the judges is final.
Selection:
Forty works will be selected by the jury for a printed catalog and digital support representing the Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare. This catalog will be distributed through our Web site and social networks (Facebook, Twitter).
The selected authors will receive a physical copy of the exhibition catalog. The digital version will be available free for download on the website http://www.wspa-latinoamerica.org/ for other participants and stakeholders.
Notification:
The selection of works will be published in the pages http://dubacartoon.wspala.org and http://www.facebook.com/WSPAlatam . Winners will be notified via e-mail the result of selection, and the date of publication of the catalog.
Copyright:
WSPA assumed that all registered works are original and property of the participant, owner of the rights on them. WSPA can not be blamed for copyright violation by the participants.
Participants grant the rights of publication of the works to WSPA.
WSPA reserves the right to distribute the work in print and / or digital campaign to support the Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare, with due credit to its author.
Using the participant's personal data:
Participants agree to the use of their name, nacioinalidad, and the title and features the works for advertising and other purposes, limited to the issue of the Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare, without compensation, as long as permitted by law .
Participation in the Festival implies full acceptance of this Regulation.
