Introduction of one of the best Caricaturist
 in the world Court Jones

Court Jones lives in San Diego, California and considers
himself constantly walking the line between caricature
 illustration and fine art. He began drawing caricatures
 professionally in 1996 at theme parks and private events.
But has been traditionally trained in fine art,
 drawing and painting at the Watts Atelier of the Arts,
 in Encinitas California, where, incidentally,
he now teaches. He currently spends most of
his time doing freelance work: painting private commissions,
 illustrations for publication, and concept design
 for film and television projects, which he admits, is pretty damn fun.



In addition to teaching at the Watts Atelier,
 he also occasionally lectures and demonstrates for various artists'
groups like the National Caricaturists Network,
the Southern California Cartoonists Society,
the Imperial Beach Art Kids, the Colored Pencil Society of America
and the San Diego Portrait Society. During the winter of 2003,
 Court was hired to fly to Tokyo and teach caricature
techniques to a group of Japanese artists who work
for Central-West Entertainment. To see a short video

California Cartoonists Society.

Mad Magazine's Tom Richmond illustrated Court Jones
on the cover of Exaggerated Features, the official quarterly
newsletter of the National Caricaturists Network,
shortly after Court won Caricature Artist of the
Year from the National Caricaturists Network's 2005 convention.
